So here’s an awesome treat for all sim-tizens, finally this is your chance to own your very own “Bird’s Nest Stadium” on the ongoing “Championships” even on “SimCity Social”simply by earning as much medal points as you can before the event expires. The coveted attraction will only be available at the shop when your reach 100,000 population, or buy it off by using Diamonds, but however you may get it, this is your brief guide when you already own one in your inventory. The structure could entice 490 inhabitants with AOE of 5 cells.
How it works:
Phase 1 – Building
Find the best spot for the “Bird’s Nest Stadium”, spend 5 energy points to kick-off the building phase, help from 5 of your friends will be needed for the staffing of the construction. You ca n ask 1 friend per 24 hours so don’t have to worry if you only have just a few friends playing the game for they can’t be invited as staff within 24 hour refresh duration.
Phase 2 – Victors Pedestal
Material Requirements
5 Architectural Pizzazz – earn it by visiting attractions from friends or own.
18 Hard Hats – earn it by visiting factories.
3 Unity – earn it by visiting friends cities’ by interacting with them positively, drop rate is random.
Phase 3 – VIP Section Box
The last phase of the construction, and you must comply the following requirements to complete it.
12 Foam Fingers- can be earned by visiting attractions and landmarks.
4 Safety Awards – can be collected by visiting factories.
5 Unity – can be collected (though drop rate is random) by visiting friend cities while doing a positive interaction.
A little note to consider, Unity tokens are rare ones so you really have to visit friendly cities with a higher status of relationship as “friends” this will assure you a better chance of having those elusive tokens.
So that’s it, we hope you get you “Birds Nest Stadium” soon before the event expires or else you really have to inch your way to 100k population before seeing the structure available in your shops. So exploit the offerings of the current event, visit this site too for free sports tokens for you to acquire the necessary medal points to unlock the “Birds Nest Stadium” in the rewards section.

Great guide! It’s nice not to have any surprises for once since diamonds are such an issue. Still working my way towards 2500 medal points so I can actually expand for once. Kinda frustrating, makes me want to just fire up the OG Sim City or Sim City 2000.

I’ve spent TONS of energy positively interacting with over 10 neighbors and I haven’t received not even 1 unity in the last week, and I still need ALL OF THEM. Wish I could ask for it or trade. To the person needing hard hats, I could send over 10-15 of those things.
@steve, I just got a Unitiy yesterday and it took me 24 DAYS (not hours) I did visit people with a deep relationship all of those days and I still need 2 more. This is a bad part of the game to me because we only have a couple of days left and I will not be anywhere near the top game player and I play everyday, all day long. I give up.
Come on guys the drop rate as increased a lot, i just use the energy bonus per day with my close everyday-playing friends and get them quite easily, i’ve finish it and i have 5 unity stored just in case. You need to do the third option in the interactions not the “good ones”, if you only have good or bad interactions then you are not close enough with that city

To get unity you need to have this one neighbour that you interact positively until you can give friendly gift to them, normally about 30+ postive interactions.
To get to max relationship with my dummy account it took me about 1-2 weeks…
I know the game is free and i have lots of neighbours but what gets me is that the biggest stuff like the birds nest is so hard to get even when you and a neighbor is so high in relationship you can’t go any higher for unity i must have spent way over 100 energy just to get enough unity for the birds nest it costs a lot and takes for ever to build and thats not the only item like that Gaias Garden is just as bad after you spen over 2500 fame on it which for a person who might only have a few friends playing the game would take for ever to get 2500 fame i have over 50 neighbours and it takes me a long time to get 2500 fame instead of giving you a mystery item for helping out they should give you fame or diamond or even for every 5 u help should give you 1 diamond.
I achieved the one hundred diamonds. I’m so freakin’ happy!
So I got the Bird’s Nest Stadium as well, altough, I expected it to be so hard to complete. Eight unity, damn… But I’m lucky, I already received one unity from the coliseum, so I currently have one unity and two other unities from my buddies. (Thank you!)
I know you guys, this is a hard goal, but you got to think about the rewards: an AOE of five cells! I think this could make like, 5.000 inhabitants (at least)!

how to get “trust”?
Getting Unity is not an issue, had no problems building this. Problem I am having now is I keep getting Unity and have already maxed out the 5 limit.

It seems like requirements for completion of certain things goes up exponentially based on what your level or population is in the game. I had to chase an expansion for 4 levels as it kept going up by one out of my reach every time I leveled up.
It’s just asinine and yet we all keep playing.
was very easy….8 unities took 60 energies over a period of 2 days….finished it on the second day…
